New Sprouts

Rocket sproutsThese rocket sprouts came up yesterday, that’s 3 days after planting as opposed to the 6 predicted on the package. A couple of the radish types sprouted as well (below are sprouts from the scarlet globe package).

Those spring onions I was so proud of that sprouted pretty early aren’t looking so good. No new sprouts meaning like 80% of the seeds have let me down. Absolutely no tarragon anywhere in any bed. A second ginger sprout appeared yesterday.

Kind of a mixed bag at this point, but I guess I’m still pretty pleased with things. Tomorrow we should be able to eat our first tomato, the basil is unstoppable, a few pepper are getting red, and the lettuce is ready to harvest.
