Eating what you sow

Ciabatta doughCiabatta bread

Bruschetta

Yesterday I made some ciabatta bread (literal translation from the Italian is “carpet slipper”) using my own home “grown” sourdough. It was my first attempt and I didn’t get the huge holes I was going for, but boy was it tasty.

I’ve been disappointed lately that the garden is in a productivity slump but still the tomatoes and basil turned my yummy fresh bread into a dinner of bruschetta!
