Pollen Laden

I’m very new to beekeeping. So new that I haven’t even opened my hive yet. I’m in that first flush of a new hobby (dare I say, passion) when I am obsessed with my new pastime and probably boring as all get-out to everyone else. Which doesn’t stop me from standing in my back yard and watching bees carrying pollen into the hive, photographing it (this is not the most impressive example of a pollen-laden bee, just the best I captured) and posting a photo on my blog.

One (wo)man’s boredom is another (wo)man’s fascination.

Keep it coming! I believe Bees would be a perfect complement to my other projects/obsessions/therapies.
